Day 4! Who’s still with me???

We’ve only got one day to go for the finale!

Have you been making one every night or are you waiting for the FINAL 5 to have a FREEZER COOKING PARTY??

OK…Today’s CrockPotPalooza meal is…..


This is great for any night of the week. I’m going to make one for tonight and make a second batch for another night when I don’t have time to prep dinner.

This is really a no brainer because you just pull the frozen bag out of the freezer and put it in the fridge the night before.

They are RIGHT NEXT to each other… so it’s really not a lot of effort… when one door closes… another door opens. :)

Anyway… back to the FREEZER Cooking part. Once the bag thaws overnight in the fridge… you just open the top and plop in in the crock pot. Even my 6 year-old can do this! Easy Peasy!

Beef Stew


  1. 2 lbs. stew beef
  2. 2 T olive oil
  3. 2 T butter
  4. 2 celery stalks chopped
  5. 2 large carrots chopped
  6. 1 lb. potatoes chopped
  7. 2 garlic cloves chopped
  8. 2 bay leaves
  9. 1 T parsley
  10. 2 cups beef stock
  11. 1 can tomatoes with green chilies (Like Rotel)
  12. 2 t salt
  13. 1 t pepper


  1. Season beef with salt & pepper
  2. Place all ingredients in large freezer bag except beef stock
  3. When ready, place stew mixture in crock pot, add beef stock and cook on low for 6-8 hours

Serve with a piece of baguette… mmmm…. dipping good! Maybe a sprinkle of fresh Parmesan on top!

This one pot meal has got it GOING ON!

Protein and veggies … all under ONE LID!

When you lift that lid to give it a stir… the kids will get really curious about what smells so good!

You tell them … IT’S DINNER!

Yeah… watch them RUN!

Better hurry up and get a seat at the table!
