Chicken Ranch Tacos Pin It

OK it’s Day 3 of CrockPotPalooza! WooHoo!

And ONLY 4 Ingredients! You probably already have everything you need in your pantry!

So what are we making you ask??

Chicken Ranch Tacos! Yummy!!

Two of my favorite things… Ranch Dip and Chicken! LOL!

If you’re starting to notice a trend in these recipes… I try to alternate between beef and chicken and chicken and beef!

If it were up to me… and I guess it kind of is since I’m the domestic goddess over here… we’d have CHICKEN for every meal. LOL!

Yep….. chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner… LOVE IT!

Chicken Biscuits… Chicken Salad… Roasted Chicken… actually I’ve never met a chicken that I didn’t like.

SO… who’s ready for some CHICKEN????

Get your crock pot on and lets get this CHICKEN party started!

Chicken Ranch Tacos

  1. 2 -3 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  2. 1 packet taco seasoning mix (you can use my homemade version too)
  3. 1 packet ranch mix
  4. 1 cup chicken broth (try my homemade stock recipe)

  1. Pour both of the dried mixes into the crock pot.
  2. Add broth and whisk until combined.
  3. Add chicken breasts.
  4. Cook on low for 4 – 6 hours depending on amount and thickness of chicken breasts.
  5. When chicken starts to fall apart, it’s done.
  6. Remove chicken from crock pot and shred then put it back in the crock pot to absorb all the juices.

Serve with soft tortillas “wrap” style or on crunchy tacos. Top with shredded lettuce… cheddar cheese… and Ranch Dressing!

Oh Boy! This is the BEST tasting CHICKEN TACO recipe out there… try it and see what I’m talking about.

And when the recipe says … “Use leftovers for sandwiches… soups… etc…”  don’t believe it because THERE WILL BE NO LEFTOVERS!

That’s sort of like telling you what to do with leftover WINE?!?! What the what???

This will be one of those “go-to” recipes for any night of the week!

So…. take your arm… reach over your shoulder and give yourself a nice “pat-pat-pat” on the back!

I am using my homemade Chicken Stock in the recipe and also the homemade TACO Seasoning. If you haven’t already tried these recipes… you should. The prepackaged TACO seasonings are loaded with “extras” that I have no clue what they are. The recipe I use is plain ole spices that you probably already have. Same goes for the Stock… I know what goes in mine CHICKEN and veggies! YEP! And both are money savers in the long run. Actually… the chicken stock is FREE if you use a leftover carcass from dinner. Just sayin’ … give them a try!

If you try this recipe… please leave comments and tell me what you think.

Until next time…
